About The Anchor

The Anchor is Downtown Wichita's neighborhood bar and grill, located in the heart of the Douglas Design District where Downtown meets Old Town.

Established in 2004, we have a constantly rotating draught menu with 59 taps and a wide selection of bottled and canned beer (more than 200!), as well as a full bar. We're known for featuring hard to find brews and strong ales, stiff cocktails and beer-based Cocked Ales.

More than just a great bar, The Anchor is also a family-friendly restaurant with a penchant for good food. Our menu features Kansas gastropub fare served up without an attitude... some might call it bar food, elevated. We have exceptional burgers, salads, and sandwiches and are famous for our open faced Haystacks – burgers piled high with hand-cut fries. You will be sure to find something for everyone on our menu.
